Patience...

Fruits do not grow overnight. The soil must be prepared, seedlings / saplings planted, nutrition adjusted, exposure to sunlight ensured and water provided. Even then, it takes months, and sometimes years for a plant to bear fruit. But what delight to the one who expended all the energy to behold the sight of the fruit, and smell its fragrance and taste its sweetness.

Patience, perseverance, diligence, determination - all positive adjectives easy to utter but extremely difficult to maintain.

Patience is your friend and your umbrella on a rainy day, your walking cane in old age, and your mental scaffolding during calamitous times. Anything worth waiting for requires patience. So friends, hold on to it with dear life.
